Known for fingers that virtually fly over the keys, Joey Alexander has rocked the music world with his seemingly effortless talent and musical sophistication from a young age. Not many jazz musicians can boast three GRAMMY Award nominations before age 16 or five studio albums to their fame before they’re 20 – but Joey can. At only 10 years old, he was hand-picked to mentor under jazz heavyweight Wynton Marsalis and now he is strengthening his reputation as the future of modern jazz at age 19 with his 2022 release, Origin – his debut as both a composer and band leader.
