A free event open to the public to celebrate the Korean Lunar New Year with traditional games and activities, cultural performances, live music, and dancing

The focus will be to share how the Korean community celebrates the Lunar New Year. This will be an eventful celebration that all Calgarians are welcome to participate and enjoy.
With our generous venue partner, CF Market Mall, we will be presenting two different segments of the event:
Performances
- Master Rim’s Taekwondo
- Buchaechum (fan dance)
- Sand Artist Kelly
- Gayegeum Byeongchang (playing one of the traditional instruments of Korea plus singing in the traditional way on top)
- Kang’s Samullori (Korean traditional percussion group)
- Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) Fashion Show
- Seoulmate (violin, guitar)
- Saxophone
Activity booths:
- Korean Traditional Games
- Gonggi-nori
- Ddakji-chigi
- Jegi-chagi
- Yut-nori
- Write your name in Korean (calligraphy)
- Puzzles
- Spot the differences
- Learning how to se-bae
- KSSC information booth (prizes)
