Banff & Lake Louise Tourism is proud to present: In Search of Christmas Spirit - a live Christmas story told by the wildlife of Banff National Park brought to life in the Cascades of Time Gardens using large-scale illuminated animal figures, lighting, sound, and other special effects.

Bringing Christmas magic to all, Owl will guide you through an immersive story featuring wolves, bears, buffalo, moose and more, all seeking the spirit of Christmas. This awe-inspiring experience reminds us of the natural beauty of the park and the creatures that live there.

In Search of Christmas Spirit is a complimentary outdoor experience ticketed for your comfort and enjoyment. We estimate that you will need 45 minutes to complete the trail and story journey. Since this special event sells out each year, please be considerate when booking tickets and cancelling at least 24 hours in advance if you can no longer attend to allow others to enjoy the experience.


There is no parking at the Cascades of Time Garden. Guests can park at Central Park (5-minute walk to the gardens) or use the Town of Banff website to locate other parking locations.
