Airdrie Festival of Lights. Open for 29th GLOWing Season!
Head out to Airdrie for the city’s annual festival of lights. Fortis Alberta Presents ~ LIGHT UP THE NIGHT!

Thanks to our sponsor, FortisAlberta, we'll be gathering round the tree to sing some carols with the Airdrie Community Choir, followed by the countdown to tree lighting and official opening of our 29th GLOWing season!
FortisAlberta will be providing free hot dogs, starting at 6:15pm (while supplies last)!
Also back is our Candy Cane Run, with our local Fire Department, who will be handing out candy canes to all in attendance.
And... Be sure to stop by and say hello to Air 106.1FM, who'll be broadcasting live for the evening, and enter for your chance to win a JEEP!
The event features beautiful Christmas lights and lots of things to do, like miniature train rides, hot chocolate, bonfires, and skating. There are special events, like Santa visits, too; check the calendar to make your plans. Donations are welcome.
December 31, 2024, is the last night to enjoy the beautiful holiday light displays in Nose Creek Park. Fireworks usually take place at 6:30 pm in Ed Eggerer Park, then you can head straight over to Nose Creek Park afterwards.
