Ali Wick is a prolific songwriter with a unique blend of country, pop, folk, and neo-soul influences. With over seven confirmed cuts and a song-a-day pace, Ali captivates audiences with her versatile sound, reminiscent of Alison Krauss and Regina Spektor with a touch of Tones and I. Her upcoming EP, set for an early 2024 release, promises to showcase her musical evolution, combining elements of music theatre and emo influences. Ali’s previous EP, “Baja Sessions,” was crafted during an artist residency at El Ganzo Records in Mexico, demonstrating her versatility and artistry.
Delirium Street Party Brass is a trailblazing ensemble hailing from Calgary, gaining recognition as one of Canada’s premier brass bands. Blending jazz nuances from the New Orleans street-band tradition with pop sensibilities, their percussion-and-horns-centered instrumentation offers a fresh perspective on the brass band genre. Comprising a diverse mix of Calgary musicians spanning three generations, Delirium Street Party Brass shares a passion for high-energy performances and improvisational prowess. Their debut EP, “The Alberta Sessions,” reimagines songs handpicked from the catalogues of Alberta music legends, showcasing their innovative approach to musical storytelling.
