Celebrated country star Gord Bamford announces the expansion of his widely successful Canadian Dirt Tour, currently underway and making stops across Canada

Over the past two months, the multiple CMA and 26x CCMA award-winner has been showcasing his new music in addition to previously released hits and fan-favourites to fans across the country to outstanding response. Today, Bamford announces 31 new dates for the already significant run, with stops added in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
Joining Bamford on tour across all newly announced dates is Métis Canadian Country singer-songwriter Dallas Alexander. The second leg of the tour is set to kick off on September 8th in Marwayne, Alberta, continuing through to November 24th where it concludes in Calgary, Alberta.
In April, Bamford released his new album Fire It Up via Anthem Records, marking his 11th studio album since his debut nearly two decades ago. Following his own time-tested formula while bolstering 100 million streams and 5 billion global audience impressions at radio, Bamford comprised a musically robust collection that appeals to audiences around the world with standalone singles and arena anthems. The Australian-born, Alberta-raised neo-traditional artist delivers song after song that blends hard moments with powerful and compassionate reflections, staying true to the country sound that has helped define his decorated career.
GORD BAMFORD
Gord Bamford stands as one of the most decorated artists in Canadian country music. He has built a loyal fanbase over the past decade with his traditional country persona and captivating live shows and has been the recipient of 26 Canadian Country Music Association awards including Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Male Artist of the Year wins, along with receiving multiple JUNO Award nominations. With over 100 million streams and 5 billion audience impressions at radio globally, Bamford is a two-time recipient of the CMA Global Country Artist Award, with 28 Top 10 singles in Canada including the No. 1 hits “When Your Lips Are So Close” and “Dive Bar.” Bamford is also the 2019-2020 recipient of the MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award, presented by The Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation. The award recognizes individuals who have had an extraordinary impact on music education and MusiCounts over the course of its history. Since 2014, Gord Bamford and the Gord Bamford Foundation have donated $200,000 to MusiCounts to support school music programs. Bamford’s 2020 Drive-In for Mental Health performance series raised more than $100,000+ for mental health charities in Alberta. In addition, Bamford is the recipient of the 4-H Canada Distinguished Alumni Award and the CCMA Humanitarian of the Year Award. To date, Bamford has raised more than $5.08 million dollars for various charities through the Gord Bamford Foundation.
DALLAS ALEXANDER
Dallas Alexander is an Alberta-born, country-inspired singer, songwriter and a Canadian military veteran. He was raised on a fishing lake Métis settlement. With a Canadian backwoods upbringing, this shines through in his music with the stories he likes to sing about. After becoming familiar with performing in barrooms, Alexander made his festival debut in 2022. He is musically inspired by some of country music’s greats, such as Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Jamey Johnson, he also finds strong influence in modern artists like Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, and the Turnpike Troubadours.
